This page will be dedicated to routes I have travelled. These will be anywhere from a few hours to multi day trips. If the route corresponds with a longer tour you will also find the route map associated to the post about the trip.
1-Great ride any time but awesome in the fall with foliage colour change. You would never know you were this close to Toronto. One of my favorite day trips.

2-London to Rattlesnake Point area of escarpment near Toronto and north taking backroads to the Forks of the Credit area. Beautiful any time, gorgeous in the fall. Â This is a slight variation of the map above this one.

3- Nice ride along backroads. Lots of little towns to stop in if you like. Very little traffic for the most part.Â

4A-2014 New Liskeard Bike Rally. A charity rally in support of prostate cancer research.
Great venue. Great folks. Lots to see and do, I highly recommend it.

4B-Alternative route to New Liskeard with a side trip day 1. Big Chute is a pretty cool spot.Â

5-Friday the 13th in Dover has become legendary. Something that really does need to be experienced even if you don’t ride a motorcycle. There are several routes I take to Dover but this is one of my favourites.Â

6 – July 11th, 2014 – Nice back road ride west and north from London. This is all Dual Purpose bike for sure. A lot of gravel. I took the KLR for this one. Investigated come really pretty spots on a few dead end roads. Frost was right…..the road less travelled…..
Hardly saw a car most of the trip. Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â 187km

7- July 12th, 2014 – Took my sweetie on a nice ride up to Bayfield. A bit tricker staying on pavement. A little dipsey doodling around once you get to the north end of Sylvan Rd but completely worth it to stay off of highway 21 and away from the zoo that is Grand Bend this time of year. The route is easily enough modified to take in the zoo if you wish but being stuck in a kilometre long line of traffic on a steamy hot summer day isn’t riding in my book. So back roads it was all the way Bayfield for lunch.Â
223 km

8a – Michigan 1A West coast Lake Huron and east coast Lake Michigan. (posted for friend). 1657 km
Future Route. Likely looking at 4 or 4 and a half days depending on how many km a day you like to to do. How often you stop to take in the sights, hike of snap a pic or two. Myself I’m drawn to lighthouses so before this trip I will research the location of a couple nice ones. I did include a little side trip to one here, the Grand Traverse Lighthouse. There are lots of bail out points but a couple must sees on this trip. Highway 119 and the “Tunnel of Trees” and staying along the Lake Michigan shoreline the “Sleeping Bear Dunes”.
Michigan is flat out beautiful through these areas.

8b – Michigan 1A West coast Lake Huron and east coast Lake Michigan. (posted for friend). Â Alternate 1575 km.Â
I would expect this trip couple be about 3 days. One day up. About a 600km day staying somewhere around the most northern part of the route and start south on 119 day 2. Two days to come back south would be about perfect. That would mean a couple 350 to 400 km days. It would depend on traffic weather and stops once again. Lots to see.
